Recipe: Vegan Parmesan Style Cheese
1 cup blanched almonds
1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
1/3 cup raw cashews or pine nuts
1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse until smooth. Pour into container and store in refrigerator or add to your favorite recipe.
Do not be tempted to use additional lemon juice as this will make the mixture too wet and sticky. Blend long enough to make sure all the nuts are ground fine. You will be amazed at the taste of this recipe!
